Crazy, Awesome Busy!!!

Wow! (takes deep breath) It's been a week chock full of acting fun. I shot a couple scenes in the wee hours of Thursday morning for a pilot that is being directed by my buddy Brad Paulson. The show is about the trials and tribulations of of the lives of microcinema directors. Microcinema in case y'all aren't aware is the emerging film wave in which young, enterprising directors beg borrow, and steal to make movies and get them out onto video, all for the cost of less than a used car (much less in some cases).

If any of you young actors out there get a chance to work with Brad, take it! He is a great guy, hard working, very easy going and supportive. If you have a good idea that will improve a scene Brad is always willing to consider it. Also, Brad has a tendency to use actors he likes over again. With all of the pitfalls actors can get themselves into doing indie films, it's good to know there are some good guys out there.

In addition I am now into intense, 6 hour a day rehearsals for "A Christmas Carol" over at the Edgemar Center for the Arts in Santa Monica. We are working very hard and it is going to be a great show. Tickets can be purchased here: http://mediaaccesschristmascarol.com/.

Between all of this and my day job touring with Kaiser Permanente's Educational Theatre Programs I'm spending 18 to 20 hours everyday working on my craft and doing what I love to do best!
